Endemol Shine Boomdog, a division of Banijay Americas, has named Alejandro Issa Benitez, Vice President of Business Development and Head of Digital, it was announced today by Alejandro Rincon, CEO, Endemol Shine Boomdog.
Issa Benitez, who was previously Director of Global Marketing and Customer Experience at eCommerce aggregator Valoreo, now leads all digital and business development for the Mexico City-based studio. Issa Benitez brings with him more than 15 years of corporate experience at leading global companies including Amazon and Procter & Gamble.
Endemol Shine Boomdog produces many of the top unscripted and scripted series in Mexico, Latin America and the US Hispanic marketplace, including “Mira Quien Baila” (Univision), “MasterChef Mexico” (TV Azteca), “Me Caigo de Risa” (Televisa ), “Todo por Lucy” (Amazon Prime), “Se Rentan Cuartos” (Comedy Central Latinoamerica’), “Quien es la Mascara” (Televisa), “Tu Cara Me Suena” (Univision), “MasterChef Latinos” (Estrella ) and “The House of the Famous” (Telemundo).

Issa Benitez previously headed all customer-facing functions for Valoreo, an eCommerce aggregator across Latin America, including brand and content development, digital marketing, customer experience and support, communications and PR functions. Prior to his time with Valoreo, Issa Benitez was Head of Traffic and Marketing Technologies for Amazon in Mexico, developing and executing all automated marketing initiatives in the country across digital channels. Previously at Amazon, I have led the commercial team overseeing books, video games, music, movies and software businesses.
Issa Benitez spent more than a decade with Procter & Gamble in a variety of roles from February 2008 to August 2018, including his last position leading the company’s Home Care business unit in Mexico. A native of Venezuela, Issa Benitez began his professional career there working for telco companies CANTV and Digitel.
