Endemol Shine Boomdog, a division of Banijay Americas, is opening new state-of-the-art post-production house Wide Angle in Mexico City, it was announced today by Alejandro Rincon, CEO, Endemol Shine Boomdog.
Wide Angle, which is located in Mexico City’s Polanco district, will open its doors to the industry in April. The facility will be run by veteran post-production director Pablo Sastre and overseen by Boomdog COO Javier Perez Teuffer.
“We are truly excited to expand our services to include this new state-of-the-art post-production facility to the Mexican TV and film community,” said Rincon. “The demand for premium content within our industry is at an all-time high and it’s crucial to have the best post-production technology and highly-skilled editors available to deliver it in a timely manner. Wide Angle will aim to do just that.”
Added Perez Teuffer, “Wide Angle was born from the need to cover all of our own internal post-production demands and we realized at the same time that there was tremendous demand from the marketplace in need of similar, high-quality post services. It will operate as an independent company with its own facilities, offering clients access to some of the top post-production services and technology in Mexico.”
“Wide Angle will offer a comprehensive service from start to finish and guarantee the highest quality delivery across all creative and technical processes,” says Sastre. “And we are bringing in world-class technology to meet all of the market’s demands.”
Wide Angle will feature nearly 50 4K editorial suites, as well as Data Center, Datalab, 4K HDR Dolby Vision Color Grading, 7.1 Mix & 5.1 Mix, Motion Graphics, Mastering and QC.
