Banijay Entertainment represents the “MasterChef” format globally. There are more than 70 local adaptations and over 700 seasons that have produced of the franchise.
“The strength of the MasterChef brand means we can adapt and scale while still delivering the creativity, warmth and aspirational food storytelling audiences love,” Banijay Entertainment chief content officer Lucas Green said. “‘MasterChef 24/7’ will give viewers unprecedented access to the inner workings of the ‘MasterChef’ journey, forging a greater connection with the show’s community across linear and digital platforms.”
“MasterChef México,” produced by EndemolShine Boomdog, premiered in 2015 on TV Azteca. The original “MasterChef” format was created by Franc Roddam and first launched in the UK in 1990. The franchise has also expanded via spinoffs such as Brazil’s “MasterChef Creators,” as well as through consumer products and live experiences.
