MasterChef Mexico kicks off its premiere season on EstrellaTV with 18 chefs competing for the coveted white apron in the MasterChef kitchen. Who gets a white apron? The series sets out to find the nation’s best amateur chefs and home cooks whose talent and passion could transform their life. More than 5,000 people auditioned, and it was narrowed down to 54 in the final casting and then finalized to 18 who will participate as contestants on MasterChef Mexico. Once in the MasterChef kitchen, their culinary skills are pushed to the limit. It’s a life-changing journey for many, but only one will be crowned MasterChef.
