Nikki Cameron Named Vice President, Development at Bunim/Murray Productions

Nikki Cameron has been named Vice President, Development at Bunim/Murray Productions, it was announced today by Rupert Dobson, Executive Vice President, Development, Bunim/Murray Productions.

Cameron, who had served as Director of Development at Bunim/Murray since joining in 2021, has helped develop and produce some of the top unscripted series of the last decade. She has contributed to several of the company’s signature series including Emmy Award-winning Lizzo’s Watch Out for the Big Grrrls for Amazon Prime Video and Family or Fiancé at OWN. Cameron has also developed a slate of new projects for leading cable networks and streaming platforms, with announcements expected in the coming months.

Bunim/Marry, part of Banijay Americas, is behind such unscripted and documentary series as The Challenge (MTV and Paramount+), Vanderpump Villa (Hulu), A Killer Among Friends (ID), The Chrisleys: Back to Reality (Lifetime), Iyanla: The Inside Fix (OWN), Never Ever Mets (OWN), Confessions of Octomom (Lifetime) and the recently announced Dirty John for Netflix.

Cameron focuses on talent-driven storytelling and developing formats that range from reality to competition and dating. Her work includes creating original concepts and identifying timely ideas that align with audience trends across the unscripted landscape.

Prior to joining Bunim/Murray, Cameron worked in production and operations at NBCUniversal across cable networks Bravo, E! and Oxygen. She supported a range of notable series including The Real Housewives franchise, Summer House, Married to Medicine LA, Reunion Road Trip, Total Bellas and Botched.

Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, Cameron earned her bachelor’s degree from Columbia College Chicago and is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority. In 2024, she was named to Realscreen’s Factual Under 40 list honoring emerging executives and creatives shaping the future of unscripted television.
