The grand finale of Telemundo’s La Casa de los Famosos ranked #1 in Spanish-language television during 7-10pm on Monday primetime among adults 18-49 with an average of 586,000 and over 1.5 million total viewers, according to Nielsen. The three-hour coast-to-coast live broadcast, which crowned Alicia Machado as champion winning the coveted $200,000 cash prize, was the #1 program regardless of language (7-10pm LIVE) in Miami and Philadelphia, as well as #1 in Spanish-language television program in New York, Orlando, and Washington DC among adults 18-49.
According to Talkwalker Social Content Ratings, the coast-to-coast live event that declared Manelyk González as second finalist, Kelvin Rentería third finalist, Cristina Eustace fourth finalist and Pablo Montero the fifth finalist, was the #1 most social Spanish-language broadcast program during its grand finale on Monday night with 249,000 total interactions.
On Telemundo.com, fans of La Casa de los Famosos consumed over 791 million minutes watched and over 33 million livestream views through the 24/7 exclusive access. Additionally, throughout the twelve weeks of the competition, voting reached 221 million votes with a majority of the votes generated on the finale with 62.6 million, in which Machado was named the winner after receiving 40.5 million votes.
La Casa de los Famosos, which will return in 2022 with a new exciting season, opened a window into celebrities’ most intimate moments, offering viewers an unfiltered and unparalleled multiplatform experience via linear and the 24/7 exclusive access streaming feed on Telemundo.com.
