Telemundo’s La Casa de los Famosos closed out the list of personalities who will live together under the same roof with the addition of renowned choreographer Toni Costa and veteran actor Osvaldo Ríos, who join for this season’s highly anticipated live premiere on Tuesday, May 10 at 7pm/6c. The full list of participants includes: Natalia Alcocer, Mayeli Alonso, Laura Bozzo, Luis “Potro” Caballero, Nacho Casano, Julia Gama, Niurka Marcos, Lewis Mendoza, Ivonne Montero, Daniella Navarro, Rafael Nieves, Eduardo Rodríguez, Juan Vidal, Brenda Zambrano and Salvador Zerboni. These 17 personalities will live completely disconnected from the outside world in this real-life drama where $200,000 will be awarded to the last housemate standing in this multiplatform experience featuring a linear version, 24/7 exclusive access on Telemundo.com, and a brand-new Sunday night special edition.
Toni Costa and Osvaldo Ríos are the newest faces joining La Casa de los Famosos. A native of Valencia, Spain, Costa is a renowned dancer, choreographer, actor, and Zumba instructor who has participated as a contestant and mentor on several dance reality competitions. In 2015, he won Telemundo’s reality show, Si Se Puede. Ríos is a well-known actor and singer who became known for his starring roles in hit telenovelas since he began his artistic career in his native Puerto Rico. He has earned international recognition and has been honored with 17 industry awards as best actor in Latin America, the United States and Europe. He has also worked in theater and Broadway musicals, and starred in Spain’s hit series on Antena 3, Entre dos Amores, alongside Isabel Pantoja.
The new season of La Casa de los Famosos will offer viewers a more complete multiplatform experience with the launch of a new two-hour Sunday night edition featuring panelists and big surprises. The audience will be able to participate in live polls and share their opinions during the live broadcast that will offer in-depth analysis of everything that happens inside the most famous house on Hispanic TV week after week.
La Casa de los Famosos opens a window into celebrities’ most intimate moments, offering viewers an unfiltered and unparalleled multiplatform experience via linear and 24/7 exclusive access via a streaming feed on Telemundo.com. Hosted by Sandarti and Jimena Gállego, the reality competition features more than 50 hidden cameras and 60 microphones that capture the housemates’ every move, 24/7 while they eat, sleep, share bathrooms, have intimate conversations, and face household tasks, nomination challenges, and eviction ceremonies. Viewers can witness the dynamic alliances, rivalries, and romances that develop as these personalities compete to bring home the cash prize.
