Emmy Award-winning producers Glenda Hersh and Steven Weinstock, co-CEOs of Truly Original (a Banijay company), today announced several new creative and production hires at the company, and key promotions. Known for such reality hits as The Real Housewives (Atlanta, Potomac and Dubai), Ink Master, Summer House and Winter House, Family Karma and Swamp People, Truly Original is expanding both its production and talent ranks:
oining the company are Senior Vice President and Head of Production David Patry, and Vice President, Programming, Ronica Wynder.
Patry runs production management and current for the company. Previously, he was at Big Fish Entertainment, Eastern, and Fox International Channels, and before that worked in production for Evolution Media for over 16 years.
Wynder has extensive experience as an independent producer working across a range of docuseries, reality and nonfiction content. She was previously executive producer on Bravo’s Porsha’s Family Matters and Kandi & The Gang. She also produced for ABC News, A&E, MTV and E!
In addition to Truly Original’s new executives, Hersh and Weinstock announced several key promotions and re-ups in programming and development:
Michelle Schiefen has been promoted to senior vice president of programming and development. She joined Truly Original in 2014 as an executive producer and then was VP of programming; her EP credits include such series as Family Karma, The Last Cowboy, Would I Lie to You? and Don’t Be Tardy, among others.
Julie “Bob” Lombardi, senior vice president of programming, has renewed her deal and relocated from New York to Truly Original’s West Coast offices in Venice, CA. She has served as EP on such shows as Teen Mom: Young Moms Club, Basketball Wives, Real Housewives of Atlanta, Shahs of Sunset, The Last Cowboy and many more.
Senior Vice President of Programming Lorraine Haughton-Lawson also has signed a new deal with the company. Integral to such Truly Original hits as The Real Housewives of Atlanta, The Real Housewives of Potomac and Shahs of Sunset, Haughton-Lawson was named SVP of programming in 2018; she was previously VP of programming at Truly Original and, before that, at True Entertainment. Other credits include Chopped, Bought & Sold and The Wendy Williams Show.
Truly Original key executives Lauren Eskelin, executive vice president, programming, and Jamie Jakimo, vice president of programming, continue in their respective roles.
