Telemundo’s La Casa de los Famosos is ready to welcome some of the biggest Latin stars as they join the highly-anticipated new season slated to premiere live on Tuesday, May 10 at 7pm/6c. The primetime reality competition returns with an all-new group of iconic personalities set to deliver episodes full of drama as they live together under the same roof, in total isolation from the outside world, with their every move being recorded 24 hours a day. The famous and controversial Niurka Marcos is the first personality to join the new season that invites audiences into the house through a live multiplatform experience on both linear and digital via the exclusive 24/7 access on Telemundo.com.

La Casa de los Famosos, produced by Endemol Shine Boomdog, a division of Banijay, opens a window into celebrities’ most intimate moments, offering viewers an unfiltered and unparalleled multiplatform experience via linear and 24/7 exclusive access via a streaming feed on Telemundo.com. With more than 50 hidden cameras and 60 microphones, their moves will be captured every moment of the day, while they eat, sleep, share bathrooms, have intimate conversations, and face house tasks, nomination challenges, and eviction ceremonies. Viewers can witness the dynamic alliances, rivalries, and romances that develop as these personalities compete to bring home the cash prize. Each week, the audience will vote to determine which celebrity will leave the house and ultimately decide which housemate will be crowned the winner at the end of the competition.
Renowned actress, singer, and dancer Niurka Marcos is a Latin celebrity who became known for her successful projects and controversial personality. The Cuban-born star initiated her artistic career as a dancer in the world-famous Tropicana cabaret in Habana, during which time she had the opportunity to travel throughout Europe, Asia, and Latin America. Once she relocated to Mexico, Marcos began acting in highly recognized telenovelas both in Mexico and around the world, including Salomé, Vivo por Elena, Tres Mujeres, Gotita de Amor, La Fea más Bella and Fuego en la Sangre, as well as the series Alma de Ángel. She has participated in popular musicals such as Aventurera, produced by Mexico’s late icon Carmen Salinas, which became one of her greatest successes. She has also starred in other productions including Canción de Rachel, La Bella de la Alhambra, and Lo amo, pero es idiota, in addition to musical productions, such as La Emperadora.

After a successful first season, Sandarti and Jimena Gállego return as hosts of La Casa de los Famosos to present every detail of the competition, including the most memorable, emotional and controversial moments from the house. As one of the most versatile Hispanic TV personalities, Sandarti has served as host of important shows and competitions, including Telemundo’s daytime program Un Nuevo Día, and productions such as Vas o No Vas, the Spanish version of Deal or No Deal, among others. Joining Sandarti as his cohost is Gállego, a talented singer, actress, presenter, journalist, and entrepreneur who also collaborates on the network’s daytime show, En Casa con Telemundo. She is the co-founder of “Mothers Front,” a project that provides a platform for famous mothers to discuss their life and career experiences.
